A bit late, but I’m back from Canada and getting back into the swing of things. I am exhausted, and this post is only … three(!) weeks late, but everything is getting back to the swing of things.

The expo was fantastic. I wandered around, wandered off from my friends enough that they are threatening to pick up a child leash backpack for next year’s expo (in my defense, I’m used to soloing conventions for the most part, so I’m not usually needing to check in with people!

Highlights!

Little Moth Shop

So, this came about prior to the convention.  By stroke of luck, I was seated by a sweet woman who mentioned she and her daughter would be at FanExpo Canada – the very expo that my friends and I were attending!

The booth was very cute.

I ended up getting a mystery pin pack, and a sticker.

The pin is solid. It’s a good weight without being heavy, and appears to be good quality.  The color scheme of the actual pin is darker than the packaging shows, which I prefer for this.  The colors go great together!

The back of the pin has the shop name and two pin backing. I like this, as  I like to put pins on my bags, so having the second pin is helpful. The purchase also came with a cute satchel.

The sticker I snagged spoke to my soul, since anyone who gives me a fun sticker is an A+ in my book.

Look how cute that is! And true. So, it now has a home on my Kimera wet palette since that needed decoration. I recommend checking out her Instagram if you have a chance, and give her a follow, or check out the shop for yourself!

Newest Addition to the Clinic

I love plague doctor vibes. I picked up this critter (with working lantern!) and added him to the growing clinic as an Assistant. I need to name him, but he’s fitting in with Dr. Faustino and Nurse Brunhilde. I also snagged a cute moth cat toy that the cats are enjoying. Sadly, I can’t remember the name of the booth, so if anyone knows please let me know because their stuff is uber cute!

Back Home

I’ve been back home now for about… three weeks – work has been absolutely hectic since it’s the start of my busy season – and so I meant to get this out earlier. However, aside from current commissions, I plan to work on a competition piece for Gencon! Busy busy days, but always a good time.
