Seer – Red Witches – Build Guide

Red Witches is the expansion I’m most excited to play. I’ve always loved playing Blood Mages in Shadowrun as a GM. There’s just something about the inherent body horror of your own blood being weaponized against you and being powerless to stop it.

As always, enjoy the sprue that we’ll be building before we jump into the actual meat of the build.

In theory, a strong Seer needs strong legs to carry the rest of the team. In practice, I want these pieces to dry so I can build on them later. You’ll want to take the two right leg pieces (A12, A13) and glue them together, then repeat the process for the left leg (A10, A11). I recommend that you do any gap filling at this point that you think it necessary; I did not and as a result it’ll be a lot harder for me to clean it all up after the fact. While these dry, we’ll move on to the torso.

The torso (A8, A9) is pretty easy to assemble here. Glue the two sides together, then attach the chest (A7), and allow to dry.

Next, I attached the arms (A3, A4), the bow (A2), the quiver (A6), the hooded head (A1m A17, A18), tassel (A15), and the cloak (A14, A16). It seems like a lot, but these are all the same area, so I grouped them together. The cloak was finnicky, and I ended up with small gaps, so I highly recommend using sprue glue or gap-filling measure of your choice at this step. Take your time, dry fit, and do your best.

While that all dries, assemble the base. I had to fiddle a bit during dry fitting to confirm where things went. I started with the two sides (A19, A20), the mouth (A21), and then popped on the eye (A22). There’s also a blood fountain (A23), but I forgot to take a photo of that part until further in.

Now that the body is (hopefully!) dry, attach the legs to the torso and attach the bloodbird (A5) to her outstretched hand. You can see the blood fountain here, and also see the spots that I’ll have to gapfill/fix a little later.

Last but not least, the lanterns (A24, A25, A26). I just put them where it felt right, to be honest.

Voila! There you have it, a beautiful bloody Seer to fight. I’ll eventually paint her, but for now she’s at least built. 🙂
