Another build guide hits the fray, this time for the best boy in all of KDM – Allister. While I ran into slight issues building him – which I 100% blame on human error rather than the model – he was pretty fun to build!

I am also trying out a new approach – gallery style for some of the steps rather than a massive vertical list of photos. Let me know which method flows better!

The Sprue

The Legs

Above, you’ll see a gallery of the legs. A strong foundation is needed to carry the rest of the party!

Torso & Scabbard

The scabbard is pretty easy to connect. There’s a connection tab on Allister’s back, and the most difficult portion of the scabbard is holding it in place while avoiding getting your fingers glued on.

Head and Shoulders

Always one step aHEAD of the enemy, Allister is pretty easy to put together here.

The pancake of blue-tack helps keep him steady, but, you might notice a teensy, tiny mistake in my build. We’ll address that below.

Final Build

Below is my gray Allister, as built above, along with a beautifully painted example by MagentaPikachu to showcase Allister’s full potential.

As you can see, during my build phase, I managed to tilt his sword a little bit. I almost didn’t post this guide because of that mistake, but honestly? Screw it. I’m human, I make mistakes, and it’s nothing a tactical rock or enemy corpse can’t fix. I’d rather address and acknowledge the error rather than hide it. The more content, including build guides, that this game has, the better!
