I’ve been pretty quiet for a while – basically since late May! – as free time has been fairly limited. I promise I exist, however!

In late May I had surgery (health reasons), recovery. Doing much better and cleared to do heavy lifting and HIIT workouts again, so I’m happy now.

We moved house, and as since hubby has a herniated disk I did a majority of the packing – fair, as the hobby room/painting stuff took up a majority of the boxes. My Mother-In-Law (MIL) is moving, and is selling us her old house. (Love the house!)

I took (and passed!) the QKA-1 exam, and have started classes and studying for the QKA-2. Once that’s passed I’ll have the Qualified Plan Administrator certification, which helps with my current full-time work. Gotta pay the bills somehow.

Pretty much any free time has been spent tidying up the old house via deep clean to make it ready to sell, and when not there I’ve been unpacking things here at the new house. There’s one small issue – I cannot unpack the hobby stuff in full, but for good reason!

Current basement (still have some of MIL’s stuff down here at the moment):

We’re going to completely remodel the basement, complete with a section purely for my studio: the 3D printer(s), a painting/streaming area, and display shelves. Our plan is to also have a gaming area, a computer area, the (boring) cleaning supplies/washer and dryer area, and a mini bar. So! Big plans.

But, I wanted to reassure you that I exist, and am looking forward to breaking out at least a few minis to paint ASAP!
